The product performs admirably. However, it’s crucial to gradually acclimate your pet to the equipment before attempting to use it. We found success by initially running it on the low suction setting, allowing our pets to get accustomed to the sound and sensation. After a couple of sessions, we introduced the brush closer to them, gradually increasing the power to medium over the course of a week. Consistency is key; we used it daily on all four of our kitties.
When it came to using the clipper attachment, we started with the tail, as it’s the least intimidating area. We aimed to make the grooming process a positive experience, ensuring our kitties viewed it as a reward rather than something to fear. Grooming all four cats, particularly during winter when their coats are thicker, is time-consuming, taking several hours with 15-minute breaks between sessions. We prefer to leave the leg hair slightly longer for a more aesthetically pleasing look.
While the product is easy to use overall, there are a few areas for improvement. The vacuum fills up quickly, necessitating frequent emptying, although the filters work effectively. Additionally, the hose could benefit from being at least 2 feet longer to allow for more distance between the noisy motor and the pet.
